Greater Manchester Engineering Consultancy Trains
Small Businesses to Be Tender Ready for Public & Private Sector Contracts
Salford, Greater Manchester 21 August, 2013 - Mavericks
Planning Engineering Services’s bid writing and tender winning training
workshop was driven by calls by the UK government for Small Businesses to get
involved in the tender process. Recent research has proven that it is possible
for small businesses to be successful at tendering. This was recorded in
2004/2005 that small businesses won 59% of the total value of local authority
contracts and 22% of central-government contracts. “Knowledge is Power and Expert
Training is the catalyst for the acquisition of Knowledge to be Faster”, stated
Fikkayo Solebo, HR Consultant with Mavericks Planning Engineering Services. “Mavericks
Planning Engineering Services is excited to be hosting the one-day bid training
workshop with Tim Colman of Partnership Working Limited and we are very
encouraged by the welcome and interest we have received from local partners,
owners and businesses”. Mavericks Planning Engineering Services is a Boutique Engineering
Consultancy in the North-West and is currently working with supplier and buyer
organisations with regards to public and private tenders bid writing. The
purpose of the training is to expose the techniques and strategies of writing
an excellent bid to win any tender. These strategies come from Tim Colman’s
widely over 30 years of experience in creating better value for money in the
buying of goods and services for buyer organisations both in the UK and
globally.
