Greater Manchester Engineering Consultancy Trains Small Businesses to Be Tender Ready for Public & Private Sector Contracts

Salford, Greater Manchester 21 August, 2013 - Mavericks Planning Engineering Services’s bid writing and tender winning training workshop was driven by calls by the UK government for Small Businesses to get involved in the tender process. Recent research has proven that it is possible for small businesses to be successful at tendering. This was recorded in 2004/2005 that small businesses won 59% of the total value of local authority contracts and 22% of central-government contracts. “Knowledge is Power and Expert Training is the catalyst for the acquisition of Knowledge to be Faster”, stated Fikkayo Solebo, HR Consultant with Mavericks Planning Engineering Services. “Mavericks Planning Engineering Services is excited to be hosting the one-day bid training workshop with Tim Colman of Partnership Working Limited and we are very encouraged by the welcome and interest we have received from local partners, owners and businesses”. Mavericks Planning Engineering Services is a Boutique Engineering Consultancy in the North-West and is currently working with supplier and buyer organisations with regards to public and private tenders bid writing. The purpose of the training is to expose the techniques and strategies of writing an excellent bid to win any tender. These strategies come from Tim Colman’s widely over 30 years of experience in creating better value for money in the buying of goods and services for buyer organisations both in the UK and globally.

Food for thought

Steve Jobs was profoundly flawed, to the degree that I don't
think I would have liked him. But he also had a powerful down-
to-earth imagination that he applied to practical, every day
problems. He could see the future and insisted on making it
happen. He saw problems as opportunities, and at a time when
computers were grey metal boxes for hackers and tinkerers, he
imagined tools that you and I can use to change our world.
We should learn from that!

How to go from Nothing to Everything

Today I received an inspiring mail and decided to share.... She wrote that since she has no
money, recommendations to attend seminars are unreasonable,
that "it takes money to make money." She says that artists
are often unappreciated and under paid. She complained that
she had no contacts and no resources, so my "advice is a
sham." Unfortunately, she's probably not the only one who
feels that way. Read more after the cut.....

Food for thought

Everything starts with an idea. Thomas Edison started with
ideas. Bill Gates started with ideas. Oprah Winfrey started
poor and alone, but she had some ideas. And all of them took
action. Share your best ideas with a "master mind" group of
friends, and ask great questions. Find the answers and take
action. Everything in life starts as an idea, a glimmer or
a dream. The difference is that successful people follow a
strategy and persist until their ideas become reality.

What Do I Look For in A perfect Date

I saw this today and thought I will share it with all my teaming viewers. Do you think she is being realistic or is she just going over the top.........you be the judge.

I`m a simple girl looking for a man who can make me smile. It is not very hard, I don`t expect anything materialistic, just honesty, respect and the effort to make things happen. I prefer African American men.
